Kevin Spacey has released a bizarre video that appears to show him requesting he be reinstated on House Of Cards on the same day it emerged he has been charged with indecent assault.
when a series of sexual assault allegations were brought against him.
According to the Cape and Islands District Attorney Michael O'Keefe, Spacey is due to be arraigned on a charge of indecent assault and battery at Nantucket District Court on January 7.
And in the moments after the news was first reported by US media, Spacey released a long speech delivered in character as Underwood. The speech was posted it to his official Twitter account and YouTube.
In the three-minute clip, he seems to be advocating for his return to the show, but many of the lines have uncomfortable echoes of his real life-turmoil.
The video is entitled "Let Me Be Frank".
