David Beckham is feeling festive as he strips off to roast his chestnuts

David Beckham gave his fans a treat as he stripped off for a spot of chestnut roasting as he geared up for Christmas

The retired footballer, 43, is clearly excited about the big day and couldn't resist a late-night shirtless photo on Instagram on Sunday night.

The father-of-five was only a wearing a pair of antlers as he perched in front of a roaring fire roasting some chestnuts.

Captioning the image, he enthused: "Good Morning and Happy Christmas Eve.. Can you tell I’m slightly excited. Chestnuts roasting on an open fire and all that."

Earlier that day, he had been stripping off again for an alfresco ice bath - something he may be more used to than the rest of us due to being a footballer
