Shia LaBeouf has apologised for his expletive-filled and racial rants hurled at the officers who arrested him in Georgia last week on charges of disorderly conduct and public intoxication.
The Transformers actor also said he was seeking help for addiction.
On Wednesday, further videos were released by the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department. One shows the star telling a black police officer that he will go to hell because of his skin colour.
He goes on to accuse the officers of being racist for "arresting [him] for being white".
In a statement shared on Twitter on Wednesday evening, he said he was "deeply ashamed of my behavior" and "my actions warrant a very sincere apology to the arresting officers, and I am grateful for their restraint."
In his apology, he continued: "My outright disrespect for authority is problematic to say the least, and completely destructive to say the worst.
